Picking the right product
After Cloud Server is deployed for an organization, authorized users can create and manage an individual virtual machine for internal applications, development and test environments, or standalone services. The HPC platform gives research teams a managed environment for batch and parallel scientific workloads across multiple nodes. Cloud Server serves teams that need individual virtual machines; HPC serves teams that need scheduled compute across many nodes.
Dedicated Cloud is built for datacenters and cloud providers that want to sell single-tenant OpenStack and Ceph clouds, designed, deployed and operated with WECORE on dedicated hardware. Organizations that need individual VMs should start with Cloud Server; teams running containerized applications should use WECORE Kubernetes.
QuFabric is a research workspace for simulating quantum circuits, many-body physics, and quantum chemistry on classical computing infrastructure. Explore its supported engines and research areas on the QuFabric page.
Three models are available. On-Premise runs the platform on infrastructure you own or lease, for organizations and service providers. WECORE Hub provides hosted management for capacity service providers operate. Hybrid combines On-Premise with a second location through Hub, for organizations. The pricing page compares them side by side; during solution design we confirm the fit for your operating model and data-location requirements.
You ask, and we reply within two working days. A short scoping conversation then defines the deployment: there is no self-service checkout, because every platform is deployed and operated for a specific organization or provider.
Hardware you own or lease: servers, storage, and network. WECORE deploys and operates the platform software on top of it; if you already run a compatible OpenStack environment, we integrate with it. Physical infrastructure is always sourced separately from the engagement. For the Kubernetes service, the full evidence-backed matrix lives at the KaaS deployment-requirements page.
Yes; the products are designed to layer. An OpenStack foundation sits underneath (deployed as part of your engagement, or sold by providers as Dedicated Cloud); Kubernetes, Cloud Server, and the HPC platform run on top of it; and the research products (Marketplace applications and QuFabric) run on the HPC platform. During solution design, we define which products, integrations, and operating responsibilities belong in the deployment.
